Basic Handgun
Cost $145
In the Basic Firearms class, we will discuss the safety aspect of safe gun handling, marksmanship, sight alignment, grip, stance, personal carry, placement in the home and cleaning. As well as some range time to apply the fundamentals you have been given.
Students will gain the following:
- Safe handling of a handgun
- Range rules
- Marksmanship
- Personal carry
- Placement in the home
- Ammo selection
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Proper Mindset
Requirements
- Eye and Ear protection
- 150 rounds of ammunition
- Reliable handgun (Not sure ask)
- Range clothing (No lose tops or v-necks)
- Beverage (NO ALCOHOL)
- Food or snack
- Open Mind
- Note taking material
101 Handgun
Cost $145
In the 101 we go to the next step. With the knowledge you gain in the basic class, we continue to build your gun handling skills but always remembering the basics of safety. Students will be introduced to carry concealed methods. Indiana Criminal Law. The mindset and life style of carrying. Shooting and moving.
Students demonstrate the following:
- 1,2,3 of engaging safety equipment
- Multiple round engagement
- Shoot move shoot
- Scan for threats
- Reloading drills
- Shoot with non-primary hand
Requirements
- Eye and Ear protection
- 300 rounds of ammunition
- Reliable handgun (Not sure ask)
- 2 magazines, 3 is preferredHolster/Purse
- Range clothing (No lose tops or v-necks)
- Beverage (NO ALCOHOL)
- Food or snack
- Open Mind
- Note taking material
202 Handgun
Cost $145
The 202 is an advance course in using your safety equipment and is more range then class time. Students will be required to have the 101 or something very similar to proceed in this class.
Students will have training in:
- Move and shoot
- Shooting on the move
- Magazine changes on the move
- Shooting from various positions
- Malfunction drills
Requirements
- Eye and Ear protection
- 400 rounds of ammunition
- Reliable handgun (Not sure ask)
- Holster/Purse
- 3 magazines is preferred
- Range clothing (No lose tops or v-necks)
- Beverage (NO ALCOHOL)
- Food or snack
- Open Mind
- Note taking material
